A project to put up flags with traces of conversations written. People who meet in the workshop have free conversations. They scribble on a cloth or a handkerchief while they talk. These scribbles can be notes of interesting comments from conversations, or doodles of diagrams or images to show what they would like to say to others. Scribbles and doodles – ”traces of conversations” left on clothes through the workshop will be combined by the artist to make flags. Conversation workshops are held at several places in Chiba. Traces of conversations held at each place will be displayed on flags at the place. Visitors witness various conversations at different places by seeing the flags placed in several places during the event. The project lets people think about going to see someone in person, witnessing something with their own eyes, sharing time and space and having conversations with others.
