Secret people

What is the core concept of the project?
Chiba City is a living organism, where each person plays their unique part, like an instrument in a grand symphony. In Japan, this harmony is especially striking. Project «Secret people» is an attempt to look beyond the polished mechanism and share the stories of those who breathe life into the Chiba city.
The project is a street documentary photography exhibition focusing on people, rhythm, and the city. It will be built around individuals from different professions who ensure the city continues to function.

Why is this project being undertaken?
I have been fortunate to visit Japan several times. I traveled through cities and photographed life around me. But I wanted to go deeper—not just take single images, but create a complete series.
For me, this project is an opportunity to immerse myself in the life of the city, to feel it, and to better understand the world around me. I want to collect a series of fleeting moments that are happening all the time. And to tell the stories of people we see on the street every day, but often overlook in the rush of life.
Photography, in this sense, is the ability to pause for a second and try to see the beauty in the ordinary.

How will the project be implemented?
A series of documentary street photographs. It’s simple: me, the camera, and the street.
