Access

For the Chiba City Arts Triennale 2025, we recommend that you first head to Chiba Station and then explore around the city. There will be no parking lots available at majority of the venues. Please use public transportation.

Railways and Monorails

You can move around Chiba City from Chiba Station using various railways and the Chiba Urban Monorail. The Chiba Urban Monorail is also selling a "excursion ticket" with an original design for the Chiba City Arts Triennale 2025(adults 630 yen / children 320 yen). Shared bicycles

Chiba City is promoting the use of bicycles in urban development based on the "Chiba City Bicycle-Friendly City Ordinance" enacted in July 2017. There are more than 540 shared bicycle stations (as of May 2025) throughout the city, and bicycles can be easily reserved, rented, and returned using an app. Please take advantage of this service for getting around the city.
