The Chiba International Art Festival 2025 website has been redesigned and relaunched!


We have expanded the functionality of our previous teaser site and refreshed it as a media platform that provides detailed information for those who want to learn more about each art project, as well as those who want to participate or view the artwork.

Overview of each section

• Art Projects：Introducing projects currently underway at Chibagei. You can view each project’s concept, schedule, related locations, reports, and more.
• Artists：The 2025 Chibagei will feature 32 artists from Japan and abroad. To get to know their backgrounds and values, please check out their detailed profiles.
• Exhibitions & Events ：The Chibagei is a festival of citizen-participatory art projects. In addition to exhibitions, there are various other opportunities available, such as workshops, tours, material provision, research, and events, which are announced as they become available. Please feel free to participate in any projects that catches your interest!
• Places：This section introduces Chibagei’s activity areas and the bases where its projects will be carried out. You may discover some unexpected charms of Chiba City in all six of its wards.
