Salon des indépendants (Art Independent Exhibition)
Art Independents Exhibition
September 19 (Fri), 2025 - November 24 (Mon, substitute holiday), 2025
We are holding the “Art Independents Exhibition” a showcase that brings together works submitted by people living, working, or studying in Chiba City. The Independents Exhibition is open to everyone — regardless of age, nationality, or background — and features artworks without any jury or selection process.
At the Chiba International Art Triennale 2025, we have decided to hold this Independent Exhibition to embrace the creative spirit of everyone with ties to Chiba City — those who want to create and share their work. Whether new or old, all works are welcome, offering a space for open expression and exhibition. The genres of works extend beyond the art projects promoted by the Chiba International Art Triennale, bringing together a diverse array of expressions including painting, sculpture, photography, design, installation, crafts, calligraphy, and performing arts. The main venue for the exhibition will be Chiba City Hall. As the administrative heart of the city, the City Hall will transform into an arts field—a hub of cultural creation—through the initiative of this Art Triennale, and the sight of the dynamic works of city residents on display will be truly impressive. We hope this exhibition will inspire everyone to value their own form of expression, unleash creativity within their communities, and contribute to city-building through the power of art. We warmly invite you to come and experience it.
